Dear CCSI Families
Congratulations:
Congratulations to the students of the Japanese track for finishing another school year. Thank you for your hard work.
In April, we will welcome several new students to the school and we are expecting the 2009-2010 school year to be the best one yet. See you on Tuesday, April 7!
Stewart Family:
As many of you know, the struggling US economy has made it more difficult for American families and churches to support missionaries. Due to a support account deficit, our family has decided to return to the United States early in order to give a few extra months to raise addition support. We are scheduled to leave Japan on April 17th. We will be living in Knoxville, TN with Lisa’s parents through the summer and are hoping to see many of our supporters in the North Eastern United States before we move to Florida in August.
We will participate in the Keiyo Team field conference next week and then start packing things up and saying our goodbyes. It has been a very exciting five year term for us and we have much to share with our supporters.
Thank you to all of the school familes for your prayers and support. We are planning to return to Japan after one year and before the English track starts in September 2010.
We will miss you.

Tennis Schedule: April 2009

おめでとうございます：
日本語部がこの一年の歩みを無事に終える事ができ、感謝致します。皆様の働きに感謝します。
４月から新しい生徒が数人入学する予定です。2009−2010の一年がとても良い年となることを期待しています。また４月７月(火)にお会いしましょう！
スチュワート家：
ご存じの方も多いと思いますが、アメリカ経済の悪化により、アメリカにいる家族、教会にとって宣教師をサポートすることがとても難しくなりました。それにより、私達はアメリカに早く戻り、サポートを集める期間を長くするという決断に至りました。
４月１７日に日本を去る予定です。夏までリサの実家のテネシー州ノックスビルに住む予定です。その後８月にフロリダへ引っ越しするまでに、できるだけ多くの東海岸地域に住むサポーターに会いたいと思っています。
私達は、京葉チームのカンファレンスに来週出席し、その後荷物をまとめ、日本を去る予定です。私たちにとってこの５年間はとても素晴らしい時となりました。アメリカに帰国後、サポーターの方々とたくさんの分かち合いができると思います。
皆様のお祈りとサポート、感謝致します。私たちは一年後、2010年9月英語部が始まる前までに日本に帰ってきたいと思っています。

Parent Conferences: (Second Notice)
As we come to the end of the quarter, the CCSI teachers would like schedule parent/teacher conferences. Please contact your child’s teacher to schedule a convenient time to meet. (We would like to schedule 30 minute conferences on the following days: March 17-19, 2009, from 3:30-5:00)
High School Ski Trip:
The Dan Iverson sponsored High School Ski Trip will be held on March 16th & 17th. Those involved will be traveling to Nojiri by van for two days of fun, fellowship and skiing. Thank you Dan! (Cost and Schedule to follow.) If you have not registered your student for the trip, please contact Dan directly.
Tuesday Devotional Leader: (3/17/2009) Pitz Family
E-Zone Schedule: March 13, 2009
The final E-Zone will be held on March 13, 2009. On this day, we will celebrate the countries of the world. Students are asked to dress in clothes from around the world and to participate in a potluck lunch by bringing a dish from another country to share with everyone. All grades will participate and each family is asked to bring a main dish. Also, since we all love dessert, families may send a dessert in addition to a main dish. The elementary grades will be dismissed at 1pm.
Tennis Schedule: March 13th.
On the 13th, tennis will be held at Furuichiba. Coach Daniel will be having a doubles tennis tournament. Lunch will be served at 11:30 on Friday so that the afternoon schedule can be pushed back by 30 minutes. Tennis will therefore start at 2:30 this week. Please remember to dress for tennis after lunch and to stretch before class. (2:30-5:00)
Elementary Science:
Thank you to the Hirohashi’s for sending the film canister to school this week. Unfortunately, our rocket experiment was not a success.
Prayer Needs:
Please pray for the coming school year for the Japanese Track. Continue to pray that God would continue to provide the teachers, finances and students needed to run this school. Thank you.

CCSI would like to welcome Lara Hayashi. Lara is a friend of Liz Kuwahara who is doing a 10 day practicum here at CCSI. She is studying to be an elementary teacher.

3月13日が最後のE-Zoneです。この日は、世界の様々な国を覚えてお祝いします。その日は、各生徒は好きな国の衣装を着、E-Zone後ポットラックランチの時を持ちます。全学年参加となりますので各家庭、好きな国のメインディッシュを一品持って来て下さい。みんなデザートが大好きな様なので、メインディッシュ一品とデザートを持って来ても良いです。小学部は午後1時に下校となります。

広橋さんがフィルムケースを持って来てくださり、感謝です。しかし残念な事に、ロケットの実験は成功しませんでした。

March 19, 2009, is the end of a quarter. Please remember that all outstanding reimbursements for expenses incurred during this quarter are due at this time. Any items not submitted for reimbursement will be considered a gift to the school.
