HELP TOHOKU

『緊急募集！東日本大地震・支援物資』
おゆみ野キリスト教会では、アメリカ人宣教師や他のキリスト教会と協力して、すでに、１３日曜深夜に第１便が出発し、福島県いわき市南部にある教会ならびに避難所となっている小学校等へ、第２便・３便が１４月曜深夜に出発し、同じくいわき市南部、および、さらに北西の福島県会津若松市に到着し、飲料水・燃料・オムツ・食料などを届けました。まだ、国や自衛隊からの支援が一切届いていない状況でした。

おゆみ野キリスト教会は、他の教会と協力し、第４便として１６日（水）夜、第５便として１７日（木）夜に、被災地へ向けて救援トラックを送り出します。つきましては、地域の皆さまからの地震被災地への支援物資を心よりお願い申し上げます。

特に必要な物資：　
ガソリン用タンク（鉄製）、ポリタンク（灯油用：軽油を入れます）、
以上は借用しますので、お名前を書いてお持ち下さい。

水、空のペットボトル（２ℓ）、水用タンク

【その他必要物資】水（ペットボトルに入ったもの）、燃料（灯油、軽油、ガソリン）、空のペットボトル（なるべく１．５～２リットル）、ポリタンク、ガソリン用タンク、ウエットティシュ、毛布、洋服（防寒）、オムツ、生理用品、食糧（すぐにエネルギーになる物、チョコレート、あめ、かんぱん、バナナ、缶詰等）、原発の災害のため（マスク、ガムテープ、すきまテープ）、等です

We are canceling school these next three days because of the train situation for our commuting students and for families to be together during these days. Let's use this time for special prayer and focus on Jesus in our homes and outreach to those who are hurting and in need of hope and comfort.

PRAYER NEEDS

FEU EVENT

Last month’s FEU was truly a “family education unit” for all of us! It was so edifying to hear about the different ways in which God is working in our families. There were so many great ideas shared as well as prayer needs expressed. Thank you for cooking, coming, sharing, and being such a vital part of our CCSI community!

ENTRANCE CEREMONY

The Entrance Ceremony for the new school year (J-Track) will take place on April 9 (Saturday), from 10 am-12:30 pm. To welcome our new families, we are planning the ceremony and a light lunch for the community. More details to follow!

高熱があったり、インフルエンザにかかったりしているお子さん達が学校にたくさん来ています。他のご家族や先生達を守るためにも、手洗いの習慣や頻繁にうがいをし、十分な睡眠を確保してください。もしお子さんが、頭痛や体の痛みを訴えたり、微熱が続いたり、あまり調子が良くなかったら、その日はどうぞお宅で療養してください。ご理解をありがとうございます。

FEUイベント

先月のFEUは、私達すべての人にとって、本当に「ファミリー・エデュケーション・ユニット」でした。ご家庭において、神様が様々な形で働かれているのを聞くことができ、互いに励し合いの時となりました。祈りの課題と同様、沢山のアイディアも分かち合いました。料理して下さった方々、参加し、分かち合い、私達CCSIコミュニティーの重要なパートを担ってくださった方々に感謝を申し上げます。

入学式

日本語部の新学年のための入学式が４月９日（土曜日）午前

１０時から１２時半まで行われます。新しく入られるご家族を歓迎するために式と軽食を用意しております。皆さん是非ご参加ください。尚、詳細は追ってお知らせします。

TENNIS NEWS

Tennis this week, the 21st and 28th at Ariyoshi Koen, at 3:00.

IMPORTANT SCHEDULE CHANGE

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES AND TEACHER IN-SERVICE DAY

Because we started school a week later this September, we have had to move our parent/teacher conferences and report card distribution dates ahead as well. Please note on your calendar, that Friday, January 21, is scheduled as a teacher in-service day for parent/teacher conferences.

We are moving that day to Friday, January 28 to allow one more week of grades for the grading period. Please correct your calendars to show January 21 as a regular school day, and January 28 as a school holiday set aside for parent/teacher conferences and report card preparation.

Sign up sheets for parent/teacher conferences will be at the office window beginning next Friday.

ANOTHER ANSWER TO PRAYER!

The LORD has heard our prayer for more E-track teachers and is sending Jessica Wendland to join our community this Saturday! Jessica is a 20-year old, home schooled gal who has long desired to work in a school setting in a foreign country. Eric Noll, as recruiter for MTW, directed her our way, and the LORD provided her support in a short amount of time. Please take time to welcome her when you see her around, and thank God with us for sending her.

RICE POUNDING EVENT

And while we’re thanking God, let’s praise Him for a very enjoyable and purposeful time last Saturday as we made all that good mochi, soup, and new friends! Many thanks to Dedachi, Takeda and Shin for all the preparation for and execution of the mochi-making, and to all who jumped in to help with set-up, serving, and clean-up. What a joy to do together!...and what a joy to meet some new people and old friends outside our immediate school community.

スケジュールの変更についての重要なお知らせ

保護者面談

去年学校を１週間遅らせて開始したため、保護者面談と成績配布日をずらさなければなりません。１月２１日（金）は、保護者面談日として教師達のインサービスデーとして予定していましたが、２８日をインサービスデー、成績配布日として１週間延長して頂くことをご了承ください。２１日は通常通り授業があり、２８日を保護者面談日と成績配布日とさせて頂きます。来週の金曜日にサインアップシートを教育館のドアの入り口近くに貼りますので、ご記入下さい。

別の祈りも聞かれました！

主は、英語の先生をもっと送ってくださいという私達の祈りを聞いてくださり、ジェシカ・ウエンドランドさんを私達のコミュニティーに今週の土曜日に加えて下さるべく、送ってくださっています。彼女は、二十歳で、長い間外国の学校で働きたいという願いを持った、ホームスクーリング出身の女性です。

MTWのリクルーター、エリック・ノルさん、彼女を導き、主が短期間の内にサポートを与えてくださいました。彼女を見かけたら歓迎して、彼女を送ってくださったことを共に神様に感謝を捧げましょう。

餅つき大会

神様に感謝を続けて捧げますが、先週の土曜日においしいお餅やスープ、友達を作り、とても楽しく、意味深い時となり、神様を褒め称えましょう。共に神様に賛美を捧げましょう。出立さん、竹田さん、信さんは、ご準備から実際餅をついて作ってくださり、多大な感謝を申し上げます。また、セッティングや清掃を突然手伝ってくださったすべての方々に感謝を申し上げます。共にすることの喜び、また、直接の学校コミュニティーに携わる以外での旧友達や新しい人々と出会うことは、何と楽しいことなのでしょう！
